ImageCast X (ADA)

STANDARD FEATURES

  • Depending on jurisdictional needs, the ImageCast X can be configured as a ballot marking device (BMD_ that prints a paper ballot, or as a direct record electronic (DRE) device that records the individual votes and vote totals directly on the device's redundant memory.

  • Comes with commercially available compact laser printer that prints a summary of the voter's selections.

  • Paper ballots can be scanned on any ImageCast tabulator in the voting location or central office.

  • Plug and play set up and easy operation.

  • Fully ADA compliant to most recent EAC standards.

  • Scalable and affordable, no matter the size of the jurisdiction:

  • One ImageCast® Central commercial scanner can process up to 130 ballots per minute.

  • Adding multiple commercial scanners increases efficiency without breaking the bank.

  • Intuitive user interface and controls:

  • The operator loads a batch and presses "scan" – simple!

  • When the batch is complete the operator presses "accept" – easy!

  • Manual, automated or digital out-stacking:

  • The software allows users to select and sort ballots that need to be reviewed; such as over-votes, under-votes, blank ballots, blank contests, marginal marks, and write-ins.

  • The out-stacked ballots can be automatically sent to ImageCast® Adjudication for review.
